YOU ONLY PRINT WHAT YOU NEED. The tiled files are split into labelled sheet groups with a contents page. For the tote you print the motif sheet plus sheets T1 and T2 — about 36 pages.

INCLUDED — 13 original applique motifs: fawn with spots, large and small mushrooms, a three-piece butterfly, oak leaves and grass tufts. Every motif template is already mirrored for fusible web, so nothing ends up facing backwards.

EVERY PIECE HAS A TEMPLATE — straps, pocket, base support and all. Nothing is left to "just cut a rectangle."

MEASUREMENTS — given in inches first with centimetres in brackets, right through the instructions, cutting lists and finished sizes.

SEAM ALLOWANCE — 3/8 in (1 cm) is already included in every sewing cut line. Applique motifs are cut to finished size with no seam allowance.

SKILL LEVEL — confident beginner. Straight seams, one boxed corner technique and simple fusible applique. About 3-4 hours.

YOU WILL NEED — 5/8 yd (60 cm) exterior fabric, 5/8 yd (60 cm) lining, fusible fleece, paper-backed fusible web and small scraps for the motifs.
